Step 1: Travel to the Right Coordinates
Use a GPS device and set your destination to (XYZ: 740, -3350, -1530). This will take you to the surface location above the Challenger Deep. If you don’t have a GPS, navigate manually by following deep-sea markers near the Glimmerfin Suit upgrade point.
Step 2: Enter the Portal Tunnel
Once you arrive, look for a tunnel with a portal near the upgrade point. Enter the tunnel and move forward. There are no branching paths, so just keep going straight. The terrain here is rough, so using your glider can help speed up your movement.
Step 3: Reach the Ice Fishing Cave
Continue moving through the tunnel until you reach the Ice Fishing Cave. This is your final stop before finding the rod. Drop one level down and turn right. The Challenger’s Rod will be there, waiting to be purchased.
Step 4: Purchase the Challenger’s Rod
The Challenger’s Rod costs $2,500,000 credits. Make sure you have enough before heading here, as there are no alternative ways to obtain it. If you’re low on credits, focus on selling high-value fish and completing quests to earn money faster.
