The latest update of Fortnite is here, and it is quite big. This new season is season 3 of chapter 6, and it’s called Galactic Battle. Fortnite May 2 Update Report
New Battle Pass
Fortnite is largely known for releasing unique battle passes, and they released another banger. This time, the season has the Star Wars theme, so you will be seeing a lot of The Force Awakens things. You can earn free and premium rewards with the help of XP in the game. The battle pass costs 1000 V-Bucks and includes many great costumes. These costumes include Poe Dameron, Wookiee Team Leader, Apprentice Evie, Emperor Palpatine, and more.

Map Changes and Bosses
The ever-changing map of Fortnite got a new update. Four new POIs are going to catch your eye in mere seconds. The developers have added the following areas to the map:
- First Order Base: You can fight Captain Phasma, commander of the First Order’s Base, at this location. Defeat this boss to get Captain Phasma’s F-11D Blaster and Phasma Blaster Medallion.
- Outpost Enclave: The area is in control of the Rebels, and you are going to love the atmosphere here.
- Resistance Base: This is the underground resistance command center where you can find the Millennium Falcon.
- Vader Samurai’s Solitude: Defeat stormtroopers at this location to get a chance to experience the Darth Vader min-boss fight.
New Weapons and Loot
There are only a few weapons that hold the aura equal to a lightsaber. Yes, the classic lightsaber is back in Fortnite and it will work however you want. Moreover, you can earn a red lightsaber by defeating Darth Vader. Aside from the coolest weapon, here is all the new loot you can acquire:

Vehicles
After checking out weapons and loot, every Fortnite player thinks about new vehicles. With the Chapter 6 Season 3 update, the developers have added X-Wing and Imperial TIE Fighter to the vehicles section. Both of these vehicles are going to make your aerial journey cooler than ever.
NPC Interactions
You can interact with some of the characters of the Star Wars universe in this update. On May 8, you will see Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia, and Mace Windu in the game. Moreover, Chewbacca and his Wookiee Bowcaster will be there on May 15. Additionally, on May 22, you will be greeted by Mandalorian, who can become your support in the game. A Star Destroyer will make an appearance on May 29. Lastly, on June 7, you can witness a final showdown with Emperor Palpatine in a live event.
