How To Become Immune to Toxic Gas in Grounded 2

There are several ways to deal with toxic gases in Grounded 2, but one of them stands out as the most effective throughout the game. The Gas Mask is a valuable armor piece that grants the Gas Guard stat effect, protecting you from gas clouds and gas attacks. You can craft a Gas Mask at the Workbench using the following:
- Weevil Nose (1): Obtained by slaying Weevils.
- Gnat Fuzz (4): Obtained by killing Gnats around the moist areas.
- Crude Rope (2): Crafted using Plant Fibers.
- Stinkbug Part (1): Acquired by killing Stinkbugs.
With a Gas Mask equipped, you gain complete immunity to toxic gas, allowing you to roam hazardous areas without fear and gather valuable resources. However, the Gas Mask loses its durability gradually with use. Upgrading the Gas Mask with Brittle Plating increases its durability, making it more effective.
Alternatively, the Gastroo Goo smoothie provides temporary resistance against toxic gases. You can craft the consumable at the Smoothie Station using Stinkbug Gas Sack (1), Roach Chunk (1), and Aphid Honeydew (1). Although you can use Grub Sludge or Gum Nugget as the base, using the Gum Nugget provides a sticky variant, which increases the duration of the effects.
