You find Grubs to harvest their hides, which you can use to craft valuable items like a canteen. As for the larva, their spikes are necessary for crafting a lot of materials like the brittle whetstone. Needless to say, you will need them to craft some base-building and workstation recipes

Grubs and Larvae spawn randomly on the various locations in Grounded 2. If you want to find them, you will have to do a bit of exploration and hope you stumble across them on your journey. Before you go on a journey to find them, you must make preparations first.

How To Get Grub

Grubs usually burrow under the ground, so you need to dig them out. To do that, upgrade your Omni-Shovel in the Ranger Outpost using a Grass Seed.  Once you do, look for grubs and use your shovel to attack them. They should come out from hiding, and you will have to take them down to harvest a Grub Hide.

How To Get Larva

As for Larva in Grounded 2, you can easily find them around the map. Usually, they spawn in the Snackbar region. Once you spot one, take them down with your weapons so you can harvest some valuable crafting materials like the Larva Spike. They are much easier to handle than Grubs, so you should not have a hard time killing them.

Grubs and Larvae in Grounded 2 are pretty common. You can spot them almost every time while out exploring the world. But there can be areas where these insects spawn frequently. If you can afford to hunt them, definitely do it. They provide crafting materials, which you will need throughout your playthrough, similar to Acorns
