How To Unlock Bug Rubber in Grounded 2

Before crafting the Bug Rubber, you need to unlock the recipe at the Resource Analyzer. For doing so, you will need a key resource called ‘Acid Gland.’ You can acquire the Acid Gland by slaying certain insects like Larva and Red Soldier Ants. Larva can be found in the trenches, such as the one at the Snackbar Front. On the other hand, Red Soldier Ants are found in the Hatchery Anthill at the Entrance area.
Defeating these enemies drops Acid Gland. Once you acquire an Acid Gland, head to the nearby outpost. Interact with the Resource Analyzer, select Acid Gland, and hit the Analyze option. This will unlock the recipes for Bug Rubber and Astonishing Acid.
How To Use Bug Rubber in Grounded 2
Once you unlock the recipe, you can craft a Bug Rubber at a Workbench. Along with the Acid Gland, you will also need Sap to make the recipe. Acquiring Sap is much easier when compared to Acid Gland. These brown and orange sticky goo-like substances are commonly found across the map, oozing from tree logs and rocks.
To craft Bug Rubber, interact with the Workbench and combine Sap (1) with Acid Gland (1). Bug Rubber is used to make advanced armors like the Roach armor set, including the Roach Chestplate and the Roach Greaves. The Bounce Web is another notable item that you can craft with the Bug Rubber. It functions like a trampoline, allowing you to bounce and reach higher elevated areas. You can also create other items like Basketballs and Pupa Basketballs with Bug Rubber.
