This guide will help you farm wet carrots in Grow a Garden to feed Jim the talking plant for some free rewards.
The highly anticipated April 2025 content update is now live in Grow a Garden. One of the new additions to the game is Jim, a talking plant who has some odd requests. If you fulfil his requests, you get Basic and Premium Seed Boxes. One of these requests is a wet carrot, which has left players confused. If you want to get the produce to earn rewards from Jim, this guide will help you.
Before you begin, you should know there is no guaranteed way to get a wet carrot in Grow a Garden. You have to wait until it rains and it can take some time before you have the right weather conditions.
How To Get a Wet Carrot in Grow a Garden
To farm a wet carrot in Grow a Garden, you need to buy carrot seeds. Unlike most other items, carrot seeds are common and easily available in the in-game shops. You can purchase one for just 10 Sheckles. Once you are ready to plant some carrots, here’s what you have to do:
- Wait for it to rain.
- Plant carrots in your garden.
- The carrots will grow in just 6.5 seconds.
- Inspect the carrots to see if it has the wet mutation.
- Repeat the process until you get a wet carrot.
You can use a plot for over 100 carrots at the same time. Daily quests regularly require carrots, so planting them will not go to waste. Once you have a wet carrot, give it to Jim for your reward.
How To Give Jim a Wet Carrot in Grow a Garden
Once you have a wet carrot, head to Jim in your garden and talk to him. You can easily locate Jim by moving to the center of your farming area. Once you are near him, open your inventory and give the wet carrot.
Jim will give you a Basic Seed Pack in return, which can drop the following items:

If you have the fruits, vegetables, and flowers Jim wants, you can keep him for unlimited rewards. Whenever you fulfil 50 requests for Jim, he also awards you a Premium Seed Pack.
