In a recent X post from his alternate account, Adin Ross announced that he will be leaving Kick indefinitely and focus on being reinstated on Twitch. This announcement comes after being on a hiatus for several months. Ross was involved in a public feud with Kick and its CEO Eddie Craven. The streamer had the biggest collaboration stream on Kick with President-elect Donald Trump just before going on a break.

Adin had been a big advocate for streaming on Kick and was considered as a spokesperson for the Stake-backed platform. However he has since had a fall out with Kick. On October 16, 2024, Ross uploaded a YouTube video titled “I’m Retiring..” in which he discussed taking a break and doing something special for the viewers.

He also shared his thoughts on how his decision to stop gambling on Stake.com, a popular cryptocurrency-based online gambling platform, could affect his relationships. He noted that once he steps away, his friends’ Stake gambling deals may come to an end as well. For those unaware, a Stake sponsored gambling deal often involve streamers playing casino games, slots, or sports betting live on stream.

Ross was credited for bringing on big streamers from other platforms to stream on Kick. However, now that he has left Kick, the netizens are concerned for the platform’s future. However, Kick’s co-founder, Bijan Tehrani is confident about the platform’s future. Adin Ross also stated that he plans on being reinstated by Twitch after he was banned last year. Ross claimed that he is in talks with Twitch CEO Dan Clancy and will supposedly be getting unbanned in two weeks.

Adin Ross Steps Down from Kick

On December 8, 2024, Ross announced that he would be stepping down from Kick and leaving the platform indefinitely. This announcement left the netizens in shock as he had convinced many streamers to join the green platform. Adin was involved in a very public feud with Kick co-founder Eddie Craven. Eddie accused Adin of clip-farming during a stream and stated that Adin had nowhere to go for streaming.

“Where the f**k is Adin going to go to? Adin is banned from Twitch. Is he going to go to f**king Rumble? He’s got nowhere to go.”

To which the 24-year-old streamer responded in a now-deleted X post that Eddie has one last chance to “make things right” with the streamer. Adin also claimed that Eddie was lying to everyone and that Kick had offered him an eight-figure deal to stream a subathon in January of 2025. After a discussion of Kick dying down if Adin leaves, Eddie stated that there would be an impact on the viewership but it would not die down.

“if he was to leave Kick, would Kick die? No! Kick wouldn’t die. Would Kick lose viewership in terms of hours watched? Of course! Would it lose community? Sure. There’d be communities left. But, I think it would open up room for other people to grow, right?”

In a recent update, an image from the supposed trailer for Adin’s Twitch return announcement has been leaked. However, the leak has not been confirmed by any official source. The image shows Adin standing in front of a grave, which features the Kick logo on its headstone.
