The APC is one of the earliest key story-related items that you unlock in Hell Is Us. It’s essentially the game’s primary means of fast travel and a way to progress through different locations within Hadea. While the APC is primarily a utility that serves as a “base of operations,” it also houses the game’s very first safe code puzzle. Within the APC, you will find a locker, which is locked using a keypad. To unlock it, you will need to find the correct combination, i.e., a six-digit code. However, unlike most puzzles in Hell Is Us, there’s virtually no clue as to where you can find said code.
Even the APC itself doesn’t have any hints as to how you can find a code for the secret locker. Thankfully, there’s a very easy way to unlock the APC’s locker. How To Access the APC Locker in Hell Is Us
Before you can access the APC’s locker, you need to get a key for the vehicle. Thankfully, it’s quite easy to get the key for the APC, as it’s obtained simply by following the main story events. After arriving at Senedra Forest, you’re eventually railroaded to a secret cave. Outside the cave, you will find a wounded OMSIF soldier. Upon talking to the soldier, he will inform you about the APC’s key and its whereabouts.
Furthermore, following the soldier’s quest and directions, you eventually get to unlock the cave and make your way inside. Before exiting the cave, you will find the corpse of the OMSIF General, with the APC’s key in his possession. With the APC key, you can easily unlock the vehicle and access its controls. However, before you make your way back to the APC, we highly recommend exploring the trenches.
Within the trenches, you will find a note left by the OMSIF team investigating the Hollow Walkers. This note contains part of the code needed to unlock the APC’s locker. You will find the code near the small bench, close to the save point in the trenches.

How To Unlock the APC’s Locker in Hell Is Us
While you can get the first part of the locker code from the trenches, the second part of it comes with a huge caveat. Essentially, the second part of the code is an exclusive DLC for the Deluxe Edition of the game. However, since Hell Is Us features static solutions for all its puzzles, you can still unlock the locker even if you own the Standard Edition. The code to unlock the APC’s locker is: 199301. This code remains the same for everyone. And regardless of the edition you bought, you can use this code to unlock the locker in the APC.
