In this guide, we shall go over how to beat the First Sinner in Hollow Knight Silksong, one of the hardest bosses in the game.

Hollow Knight Silksong is a much harder game than its predecessor, and this is best reflected through its various bosses, notably the First Sinner. The First Sinner is a boss that puts your movement skills to the test and has a ton of attacks in its pocket.
Beating the boss requires you to track both its movements and its attacks. To make things worse, the boss can also heal itself, which can render your progress in the fight null. You have to play aggressively to conquer this challenge, and if you’re still stuck, this guide is here to help.
Where To Find First Sinner in Hollow Knight Silksong

You find the First Sinner boss in The Slab region of Hollow Knight Silksong. To find the boss, start off on the bench on the southern end of this region, and make your way up. In the first room up above, take a right and then head straight till you see a dead end. Jump to the platform above, and you’ll see a door to your right. Pass through this door.
In the next area, jump the first gap and drop down from the next to find a door in the bottom right corner. Pass through and head in the general right direction till you find an interactable object you can inspect. Break all the chains tied to the object to open a passage. This passage will then lead you to the First Sinner boss.

First Sinner Boss Overview

The First Sinner in Hollow Knight Silksong is a boss that demands all your attention and aggression. The boss’s main gimmick is its teleportation ability. The First Sinner vanishes in and out of thin air, jumping around from spot to spot in the arena. This rabid movement makes it difficult to predict, adding to the overall difficulty of the fight. The boss also incorporates several silk attacks to force you to move during Phase 1.
Staying still is a death sentence for this fight. To make matters worse, the First Sinner can also use Bind to heal themselves. Failing to counter this only serves to elongate the fight. If you somehow survive the onslaught and stop the boss from healing, you’ll send the fight into Phase 2. Phase 2 is a bit trickier as the boss expands its moveset with AOE attacks. This requires you to carefully navigate through the visual clutter to deal damage to the boss.
