How To Crawl in Hollow Knight Silksong
As mentioned earlier, the game does not have any sort of command or ability that lets Hornet crawl. There are some parts of the game where a passage is smaller than usual. Just like in Hollow Knight, players can acquire the Mantis Claw to initiate wall climbing, but there was no specific input for crawling. However, when passing through these passages, the Knight looks smaller and moves at a slow pace.
On the other hand, Hornet is tall, agile, and very acrobatic, thus making her faster in every aspect. She also auto-crawls in those narrow passages, but at a higher pace. Additionally, she does not need Mantis Claw to grab ledges, as she can naturally do this from the start. However, Hornet can acquire the ability to wall grab in order to get to some hard-to-reach areas of the game.
