Tectone Ex, whose real name is Tectone, has taken the gaming community by storm through his Twitch streaming and YouTube videos.
Tectone, also known as Tectone Ex, is a content creator who started his gaming journey with Genshin Impact. Through his streams on platforms like Twitch, he has carved out his niche, and his content resonates with gaming enthusiasts. The American streamer was born on July 7, 1998, and, from a young age, he had a knack for gaming. Tectone is a variety gamer, and he often shares gaming tips and insights about trending games with his audience. It is evident through his videos that he is very passionate about gaming, and his interactive behavior captivates his audience. This also helps him create a sense of community for his fans.
Tectone’s Streaming Career
Tectone first started streaming on Twitch in 2019. His engaging content and captivating gaming skills on the platform created a loyal fan following. He later transitioned to YouTube, which further helped him grow in the industry. He now has a total of 970K followers on Twitch with a total of 39.9 million hours watched. On YouTube, he has garnered 812K subscribers and has uploaded 2.1K videos on the platform.
Tectone discussed his transition from Genshin Impact to a variety of games in an interview where he said:
“Sure. I mean, when talking about where I’m going, it’s always important to talk about where I was coming from. And I was from Genshin Impact, as and a lot of other mobile games, and I don’t want to ever see, like I’m not grateful for that. But a lot of content creators kind of get locked and pigeon-holed into an area, people want to put content creators in a box. And I’m currently trying to find a way out of that box and do more things, like variety and all that jazz.”
Controversy About Tectone and Pinkchyu
Pinkchyu and Tectone had been dating for two years after his divorce. In November 2024, Pinkchyu, Tectone’s former housemate, alleged that he used to s*xually abuse her. On November 20, 2024, she opened up about her struggles living with the 26-year-old through a series of tweets on X. Although Pinkchyu did not specifically mention Tectone, it was speculated that she was referring to the streamer.
In these tweets, Pinkchyu said:
“How are you supposed to feel if a guy is abusive and makes you cry then shoves your head on his crotch and demands you suck him off and his excuse is ’emotion just turns me on when you cry.’ Or when you asking that you don’t feel comfortable doing something sexual and he records you and demands you stop making faces and pretend you like it. Or you say you don’t want to do it anymore and he shoves your head down till you throw up.”
She also added:
“Guilt trips you into giving b*s and says ‘do your job you don’t pay rent,’ ‘I took you to a water park so you owe me,’ and all you can do is sleep upstairs cause you know what he’s going to keep telling you to do. He doesn’t touch you, doesn’t have s*x with you, just keeps you around as a b* machine and degrades you. Makes you feel ugly. ‘Don’t wear baggy clothes, straighten your hair, at least wear eyeliner around the house,’ your self-worth totally crushed.”
On the other hand, Tectone addressed the allegations in one of his broadcasts, saying:
“I’m going to keep this vague for a reason. Okay? So, if you’re confused, you’re going to stay confused. Because this sh*t is not about content for me. Okay? I know the person who needs to hear this, is going to hear this, and I mean this genuinely. Okay? I did everything for you. I helped you with everything. I fixed everything for you. I was there for you like nobody else was there for you in your whole life, your words, not mine.”
However, on November 22, 2024, Tectone made a long tweet about the situation, claiming that everything Pinkchyu said was a lie and that he gives her two weeks to apologize to him.
As many of you are aware of by now, Pinkchyu, my ex girlfriend has accused me of a number of things that I can't let go unaddressed. I have been accused of: sexual assault (potentially rape), prostitution and severe emotional abuse among other things.
