Wantep, whose real name is still unknown, is a Twitch streamer. Although he does not stream much, he is known for Just Chatting streams on his channel. He was born on April 25, 2002, which makes him 22 years old as of writing.

His top two games streamed on Twitch include Just Chatting and Valorant. He has streamed these games for 1,221 hours and 516 hours, respectively. Wantep has a total of 68,957 followers on his channel, with a peak viewership of 23,378 viewers. He started streaming on the platform back in July 2018 and has explored multiple games since.

Wantep’s YouTube channel only has a total of 4.3K followers. However, his most popular video has a total of 25K views and is titled “Wantep cancels BIGGEST streamers of 2020 (Among Us).” In the video, he collaborated with a number of streamers, including Mizkif, to play the viral game Among Us.

Wantep Claimed To Make a $28,000 Crypto Rug Pull

Recently, Wantep came under fire for allegedly pulling a crypto “rug pull” while chatting with fellow streamer Mizkif. The two have known one another since 2021, and Wantep is a moderator on the Mizkif channel. Wantep advertised a coin dubbed the “Chompy Coin,” which was named after Mizkif’s cat, during a stream on January 22, 2025. To turn a $28,000 profit, he increased its price and apparently dumped it completely.

Wantep was seen doing some math during the livestream, and he calculated that he could readily send Mizkif a total of $28,000. He said to Mizkif:

“”One hundred and fourteen times two hundred and fifty, 28 grand. I could just send this to you right now…”

In the industry of cryptocurrencies, a “crypto rug pull” is a swindle in which project developers abruptly take all of the money out of a project, leaving investors with empty tokens or assets. The reason it’s dubbed a “rug pull” is that it feels like the investors have had a rug pulled out from under them.

As soon as this happened, Mizkif was visibly shocked by the incident. He was unable to believe what had happened and questioned Wantep about it.

“What is going on? He just duked the chart, this guy made a Chompy Coin… and you’re telling me he gave you $50,000 of crypto? And you just sold it and you made 28 grand?”
