How To Beat Godai of the Fire in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Find and defeat the Godai of the Fire, which is part of the Godai Shinobi quest line in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

The Godai Shinobi side quest unlocks once you get access to the Omi region in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. The Omi region in particular unlocks once you finish the mission ‘From Sparks to Flame.’ As soon as the Omi region unlocks, the Godai Shinobi quest will be accessible.

The Godai refers to a group of five elite shinobi. You, as a player, are tasked with locating and assassinating these shinobi targets during the Godai Shinobi side quest. In this guide, we will be looking at locating and defeating the Godai of the Fire.

The Godai is essentially named after the five elements in Japanese philosophy: fire, earth, water, wind, and void. Each of the Godais embodies the characteristics of its associated element.

How To Locate the Godai of the Fire in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

As per the objective tab in the world menu, the quest states that a beggar has been raving about the presence of a fire demon. Our task is to help the terrified beggar. The fast travel to reach this place is right above the sake brewery to the east of Sakamoto Castle. After saving the beggar at the blipped location, you unlock the whereabouts of the Godai of the Fire.

Kaji, one of the former students of Shoetei, is the Godai of fire. The Godai of Fire can be found in northwestern Mount Hiei, lingering near a burning pagoda. Fast travel to the nearest location, which is the Hiei Foothill.

How To Defeat the Godai of the Fire in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

You will see a massive house on fire. On approaching closer, your duel with the Godai will commence. Kaji will fight with two daggers, on occasion throwing projectiles towards you. After defeating the Godai of the Fire, you get:

1. Armour Damage with Combo Ender – Engraving
2. 2 Mastery Points
3. Mon – x375
