Assassin’s Creed Shadows offers a variety of side quests that do not feel monotonous at all. All the side missions have depth and meaning, justifying the lore behind each of them. One similar quest is the Godai Shinobi quest line.

The protagonists, Naoe and Yasuke, must defeat the five members of the Godai Shinobi — the Godai of Void, Godai of Wind, Godai of Earth, Godai of Fire, and Godai of Water. Defeating each of these ex-elites rewards players with unique rewards with an additional reward for completing the entire side quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

The Godai is a group of five former students of Shotei and ex-members of the elite Koga-ryu squad. Defeat the members of the group to finish the side quest line and earn high-tier rewards in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

All Godai Shinobi Locations in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

• Godai of the Void – The first target can be found in the east of Goshiki Outlands.
• Godai of the Wind – The Wind Godai is the most elusive of the group. He can be found in Otogi Pass in the Iga region, east of the map.
• Godai of the Earth – This target is located in Hijiyama, also in the Iga region.
• Godai of the Fire – He can be found in north-western Mount Hiei, located in the Omi region.
• Godai of the Water – The Godai of Water resides in the northeastern part of Mount Hiei, located in the Omi region. Additionally, this location is north of Sakamoto Castle.
