How To Beat Godai of the Void in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Find and defeat the Godai of the Void, which is part of the Godai Shinobi quest line in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

In Assassin’s Creed Shadows, the five elite shinobi together form the group of Godai. You are tasked with the mission of tracking down these shinobi targets and assassinating them as part of the Godai Shinobi side quest. Through this guide, we will see exactly how to locate and later defeat the Godai of the Void.

The five elements of Japanese philosophy, which are void, earth, fire, water, and wind, are the basis for the Godai’s name. The qualities of the element that corresponds to each of the five Godais are embodied by them.

How To Locate the Godai of the Void in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

As per the objective tab in the world menu, you are provided some hints to locate the whereabouts of the Godai of the Void. He is in the region of Omi, to the east of the Goshiki Islands. The Godai is hiding in the cave at Daikichiji Temple.

Fast travel to the nearest location and ascend the steps to the north of the temple. Follow the steps till you reach the mouth of the cave. Proceed forward and follow the path till you reach a larger opening a bit deeper into the cave.

How To Defeat the Godai of the Void in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

Once in the air, the Godai of the void will appear through thin smoke, taunting your attempts to sneak up on him. His attacks are quick, and he uses smoke screens at regular intervals. You can inflict periodical damage by using poisonous projectiles and weakening them, followed by a finishing blow. Your character finishes the duel with a fitting line, “Now you fade into the darkness, to be forgotten.”

After defeating the Godai of the Void, you get:

1. Damage to Tagged Enemy – Engraving
2. 2 Mastery Points
3. Mon – x295
