Expand on Case’s lead in the Under The Radar mission in Black Ops 6. Learn how to navigate Vorkuta and reveal its secrets.
After making Matvey Gusev speak in the Ground Control mission, Under The Radar in Black Ops 6 takes you to a facility in Russia. Vorkuta is the place where you need to find and secure the Cradle. Pantheon is wherever the precious bioweapon happens to be. Sevati Dumas is sent on a covert mission to sabotage the holdout’s primary defenses so the entire rogue CIA team can infiltrate it to secure the Cradle samples.
The map is compact, but the first phase is open-ended, allowing you to approach things as you please. This is where you can have some fun as Sev. However, don’t completely blow your cover as that may lead to undesirable circumstances.
Being Under The Radar Helps You Complete the Mission Faster
The Opening Section
Once you are in position atop the guard post, take out the soldier in the front to acquire his uniform. You now have to scout for the primary defenses of the Pantheon outpost. The Radar Dish, the SAM Site, and the Helipad are the three you need to concern yourself with.
Sev will also engage in dialogues with her team to figure out ways to sabotage the security. You can either ‘talk’ your way into getting the job done or choose to be more chaotic and blow everything up. We chose to be peaceful with our approach, so let us guide you through it. This will also help you unlock a challenge on accident.
Sabotaging the Fortress Peacefully
Reach all the humanoid icons on the map to converse with them. Sev’s primary skill is Keen Eye. When the prompt appears, hover over the interaction area and interact with the said button. Pay attention to what Sev says in her head.
Head to the Radar technician. Use Keen Eye to look at the monitor first, then at the clipboard ahead, and lastly at the radio. Listen closely and use the information correctly in the dialogues that follow. In the end, he will ask you to give him a call whenever you want the Radar to go offline. This won’t happen until later in this phase.
Go to the personnel near the SAM Site. Use your observation to first look at the clipboard right in front of him. Then, look at the other end of the desk to spot a work order written on paper. Lastly, observe the calendar on the notice board located beside the desk.
Next Steps
After using the correct dialogue options, head up the ladder right next to you. Mark enemies near the SAM site using your camera. Jump down quietly when no one is around because it is a restricted area. There will be a bunker on your left and one right in front of you. Visit the left one first to grab a wire cutter. Beware of an enemy soldier inside. He will be minding his own business but can still spot you. So, enter his bunker from the opposite door instead.
Then, enter the main bunker near the wall that contains the warhead that you will sabotage. After doing so, head back to the soldier at the desk that you talked to before. Tell him that the missiles are ready to be installed and you are all set here.
Now, go and see the volunteer near the Helipad. Use Keen Eye to observe his neck tattoo, the photograph of his daughters behind him, and the form on the table, respectively. Once done, go to the other side of the cargo behind you and attach an explosive to it. If you don’t have one already, you can pick it up on the roof of the bunker where the SAM Site personnel works. Once you are done attaching it, talk to the soldiers standing next to the cargo and tell them it’s ready to be loaded into the helicopter.
Head to the required console. Takedown the person in charge and hack it. Now, call the Radar technician who will turn off the machine so your friends can sneak under the radar. This will wrap up the open-ended phase of this mission.
Ending It All
Now, Case, Marshall, and Adler will board the helicopter that Neuman is piloting. Be the chopper gunner and wreck everything in view. When the prompt appears, hold the interact button on the flying attack helicopter to blow it up. Descend and take out the remaining Pantheon soldiers. Head to the location and go underground.
You and your team will eventually split. Make your way through the caves, climb up the ladder at the end of the tunnel, and you will be met with a twist. Enjoy the dramatic conversation, reply wisely, and get ready to attack when the prompt appears. This will end the mission Under The Radar.
Secrets, Challenges, and Rewards
Head to the Radar building shown in the image and go up to the second floor. There will be a radio on a table next to you. Tune in and hear the safe code. The safe is behind a steel mesh door. Enter the code and collect the $1000 in it. You can attempt this in the open-ended phase, or in the second phase of the mission.
A challenge you can complete here is The Keen Eye, for which you need to use Sev’s Keen Eye ability thrice as per our guidance. After completing the mission, you will get access to a wallpaper that can be used in multiplayer.
