Trophies are one of the best ways for games to offer replayability value to players, and Clair Obscur Expedition 33 is no exception to this rule. The turn-based RPG features a total of 56 trophies that you can unlock as you progress through the main story. And while most RPGs rely on multiple playthroughs for their Platinum trophy, Expedition 33 doesn’t. In fact, if you play your cards right, you can get the Platinum trophy even before starting New Game+.

That being said, getting the Platinum in Clair Obscur Expedition 33 isn’t easy, far from it. While there are no “ending-specific” trophies in the game, there are trophies that require you to defeat some of the toughest bosses in Expedition 33.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Platinum trophy in Clair Obscur Expedition 33, and how you can easily unlock it.

To unlock the Platinum trophy in Clair Obscur Expedition 33, you will first need to obtain all other trophies in the game. Do note that on PC and Xbox, there’s no Platinum adjacent achievement for the game. However, the rest of the achievements are identical to the trophies on PlayStation. Most of the trophies unlock automatically by following the main story.

Furthermore, there are some party-specific trophies that you will unlock naturally as you level up and use different members of the party in combat. In Acts 1 and 2, you will only be able to unlock story-related trophies. However, once you reach Act 3, you will be able to unlock all of the trophies without having to go into New Game+.

That said, some of the trophies can only be unlocked after you reach the endgame, i.e., finish the main story. After finishing the main story, the game allows you to freely explore the Continent and doesn’t force you into New Game+. As such, you can freely complete the optional dungeons and trophies even after rolling credits on the main story.
