How can you find Gelena to ally with the Coven in Diablo 4? Here is a short guide to help you out with the onset of Season 7.
Gelena is one of the friendly faces in Diablo 4. She is an important figure in Season 7. The reason behind her importance is the Witch Coven introduced in this season. Since Gelena leads this Coven, she immediately becomes a person of interest for the players. Finding and chatting with her can be tricky, but that’s what we are here to help you with.
Eternal characters won’t be able to see this content, and another prerequisite to clearly note here is that you will only find Gelena if you are playing on the Seasonal ladder. This means you must be accessing the new season’s content to find Gelena in the first place. The first step in getting to Gelena is making a Seasonal character.
After that, your next step will require you to complete the Prologue section of the Vessel of Hatred content. One quest will then pop up in green, called “Oaths and Debts.” After creating your character, the latter will spawn in an area called Gea Kul. Once the requirements are met and you have the Oaths and Debts mission activated, head north to the teleporter pad.
This is where your first real dialogue takes place with Gelena in Diablo 4. However, you may have to wait a few moments before she is ready to speak to you. Once done, interact with her once more to get introduced to the Coven. She will eventually ask you to follow her so you can help her find the source of the whisper.
Sealing Your Introduction to Gelena’s Coven in Diablo 4
You will be led to an area nearby that is marked with a green deformed circle on the minimap. There is a location here that has purple roots growing on the door. Get close to this Overgrown Door to interact with it and progress the mission further. The main objective of this mission is revealed later on, but for starters, you have to keep interacting with the various purple Exposed Roots and defeat the enemies that spawn with them.
You will also face a huge monstrosity of an enemy. He shouldn’t be that difficult to take down. Just make sure that you steer clear of the poisonous attacks he has, and you might be able to beat him in no time! Once you are done with him, just pick up the Fugitive Head that it drops upon death. Don’t worry, Gelena will make sure you remember to pick it up.
In the end, all you need to worry about is meeting Gelena at the Tree of Whispers. You are now caught up with the Coven that you may have been confused about earlier.
