Gears of War Reloaded: Possible Fixes For Black Screen Issue
1) Play the Game in Offline Mode
When facing the black screen problem in Gears of War, try running Steam in Offline Mode first. Now, boot the game. When the game is turned on, you can go online once again.
2) Run the Game as an Administrator
Running the game as an administrator ensures that the software has enough resources allocated to it. You can do so by following these steps:
- Right-click on Gears of War Reloaded.exe.
- Select Properties.
