The game mainly focuses on building bases and breeding new Pals while completing the story. With the new Feybreak update, Palworld introduced various new items, Pals, buildings, and much more. Among these new items, Dark Fragments are a rare resource used for crafting gear and items.

How To Get Dark Fragment in Palworld?
Dark Fragments are dropped by dark-type Pals. However, these fragments are exclusive to Feybreak Island, so only dark-type Pals found in this particular region drop them. Additionally, finding dark types on this island is quite a difficult task, as players need to explore further inside. Here’s a list of all the dark-type Pals that drop Dark Fragments:
- Splatterina
- Omascul
- Starryon
- Kitsun Noct
- Dazzi Noct
All the above-mentioned Pals drop 1-3x Dark Fragments. Moreover, players can also find these rare fragments randomly lying on the ground.
How To Use the Dark Fragment?
Dark Fragments are used to craft late-game gear and items. Here’s a list of all the items crafted using these fragments:
- Triple Jump Boots
- Double Air Dash Boots
- Smokie’s Harness
- Homing Module
- Dazzi Noct’s Necklace
- Starryon Saddle
- Nyafia’s Shotgun
- Xenolord Saddle
All the above-mentioned items are very useful in the late game, such as the Triple Jump Boots, which greatly enhance mobility, and Nyafia’s Shotgun, which has a very good damage output. Remember to save Technology Points to craft these items, as all of these Dark Fragment-imbued items require a significant amount of these points.
