Explore this guide on how you can find the Fin Gleam Helm in Oblivion Remastered, including all the enchantments on it.

In Oblivion Remastered, there are many activities that you can do right after completing the tutorial. The world becomes fully explorable, and you can look in any direction to start running and do quests, or find treasures. One of the best treasures you can find early-game is the Fin Gleam Helm, which is somewhere out in the ocean. Moreover, the best thing about the helm is that it allows you to breathe underwater.
However, finding the helm is quite a difficult task as the location of the helm is in a remote place in the ocean. To help you out, here’s a guide on how you can get the Fin Gleam Helm in Oblivion Remastered.

Location of Fin Gleam Helm in Oblivion Remastered

After you escape from the sewers, head west towards the port city of Anvil. The helm you are looking for is on a skeleton lying on the seabed. From Anvil, keep heading west and get on the isolated rock on the far western side of the Cyrodiil map. Get on the western side of the rock, and jump into the sea.
Watch out for your oxygen meter when you dive, as you take huge amounts of damage once it runs out. The skeleton you are looking for is between two rocks under the water, close to the large rock you jumped from. The skeleton is wearing the Fin Gleam Helm, and you can have to loot it from its body. You can use the image above to get a rough idea of where the skeleton is.
Enchantments on the Fin Gleam Helm
The Fin Gleam Helm is one of the most useful helms in Oblivion Remastered. The enchantments on the helm make it useful both in and out of combat. Here are all the enchantments you get on the Fin Gleam Helm:
- Water Breathing: You can indefinitely breathe underwater. This allows you to loot underwater chests for treasures.
- Night Vision: You can easily travel in dark places without using any torches or light magic.
- Detect Life: Enemies get a white outline on them, which glows to help you detect them. This is useful when fighting mages or assassins who can become invisible.
We recommend collecting the Fin Gleam Helm as soon as you can after completing the tutorial, as it makes your entire journey much easier in Oblivion Remastered.
