Find out how to get the Keycard, one of the essential endgame items of the survival horror game The Forest.
The employee Keycard, or simply the Keycard, is a key item in Endnight Games’ survival horror game “The Forest.” It is also known as the End Game Card, as you need it to progress to the endgame story.
You need the Keycard to open the vault door at Cave HC, located at the bottom of the sinkhole. However, obtaining the Keycard is a challenging task if you don’t know where to look for the endgame item. Don’t fret, as this guide will take you directly to the exact Keycard location in The Forest.

Keycard Location in The Forest
The Keycard can be found in Cave 6, guarded by several dangerous enemies. So be prepared to put up a fight on this venture. Locating the entrance of the cave can be confusing unless you know the trick.
Start by heading west of the sinkhole and continue along through the west until you notice several shipping containers. To the left of the containers, you will find a pile of rocks marking the entrance. Approach the rocks and squeeze through the way to enter the cave.

Where To Find the Keycard in the Cave in The Forest
Now that you have entered the cave, you need to make your way through it to get the Keycard. Don’t forget your flashlight, as the cave will be pitch-dark. Proceed along, and you will come across a tent. Grab the supplies and do a quick save at the tent if you want. After further steps, you will see a climbing rope on your right. Instead of taking it, follow the path on the left. Keep moving, and you will eventually end up at another cliff with a climbing rope.
You will encounter three enemies below. You can either engage them in direct combat or throw some dynamite or Molotovs, using the height as an advantage. Once cleared, follow the way down, and you will find a wooden barricade on the right. Break through the barricade and follow the way until you reach another cliff, which leads to a room full of corpses below it. Your Keycard is somewhere around the corpses, guarded by an Armsy and several Mutant Babies. Again, you have two options to fight them—either engage directly or use a ranged attack.
Upon clearing the area, walk through the room full of corpses and reach the end of the room. There, you will find the Camcorder on a rock on your left. One of the corpses on your right holds the Keycard near the Camcorder. That’s it—you now have the Keycard to open the vault door and progress to the endgame.
