Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 has brought with it a long list of new mechanics and characters to the game, including the surprising addition of multiple Kaijus from the Monsterverse. Epic Games initially revealed only Godzilla as part of Chapter 6 Season 1, but they have also brought his buddy, Kong, to the game. Players can now purchase and embody the mighty Kong from the Monsterverse as they battle it out for that Victory Royale.
In this article, we will break down how you can get your hands on the Kong Skin in Fortnite to celebrate the arrival of Godzilla in Chapter 6 Season 1.
How To Buy Kong Skin in Fortnite
As of January 21, 2025, the Kong skin can be found in the Fortnite Item Shop under the “Spotlight – Mechagodzilla & Kong” tab. The Kong skin is part of the Monarch’s Titan Set and is available for purchase via the Mechagodzilla & Kong Bundle, which includes nine cosmetic items:
- Kong (Outfit)
- Mechagodzilla (Outfit + Reactive + Selectable Styles)
- Kong’s Battle Axe (Pickaxe)
- BEAST. Glove (Emote)
- Roar Power (Wrap + Reactive)
- Cybernetic Scream (Wrap + Reactive)
- BEAST. Armorplate (Back Bling)
- Proton Drill (Pickaxe)
- Proton Exo-Boosters (Back Bling)
To purchase everything in the Mechagodzilla & Kong Bundle, you can do so for 2,800 V-Bucks at a discounted price. Alternatively, you can choose to acquire the items separately:
- Kong (Outfit) and B.E.A.S.T. Armorplate (Back Bling) can be purchased together for 1,500 V-Bucks.
- Kong’s Battle Axe (Pickaxe) and Proton Drill (Pickaxe) are available for 800 V-Bucks each.
- Roar Power (Wrap + Reactive) and Cybernetic Scream (Wrap + Reactive) can be purchased for 500 V-Bucks each.
- BEAST. Glove (Emote) is available for 400 V-Bucks.

How Long Will the Kong Skin Remain Available?
The Kong skin will remain listed in the Fortnite Item Shop until January 25, 2025, at 8 PM Eastern Time. While this is a limited-time offer, the Kong skin is not exclusive and will return to the Item Shop at a future date, giving players another chance to purchase it.
