In V Rising, as you build your base, you should separate rooms based on what purpose they serve. This is because each room can get the Enclosed and Matching Floor bonus. For libraries, you need the Library Flooring to get the Matching Floor bonus.
However, getting the Library Flooring can be quite difficult without any prior knowledge. To help you out, here’s how you can build Library Flooring in V Rising to save a ton of resources.

Purchase Library Flooring Recipe in V Rising
The first method to get the Library Flooring recipe is by paying a visit to the Dunley farmers market merchants. It is a huge rural market where you can find villagers shopping. Moreover, this is the same place where you can find the Rural Merchant who sells mid-tier recipes. However, you cannot enter the market as a vampire, as people are simply going to run away in fear or call guards.
You have to first defeat Bane the Shadowlord, a quite difficult V Rising boss. He can be found anywhere in the Dunley Farmlands, roaming as a disguised human. You must track and defeat him to unlock the Human Form. Human Form transforms you into a human, and people won’t run away at the first sight of you. However, you move painfully slow in this form, so only use it to infiltrate human camps.
Once you have the form, disguise yourself and enter the farmers’ market. You must also carry 75 silver to purchase the recipe book. You can craft special pouches made to specifically hold silver coins without taking damage. The stock on the merchant changes every day, so it might take a bit of time before you get the Library Flooring. Fortunately, there is a method that can help you get the recipe faster.
Use the Study To Unlock Recipes Faster
Another method to get the recipe faster is by making the Study. You get the Study recipe after defeating Maja the Dark Savant. The Study is a structure that you can use to turn scrolls into recipes. However, you unlock a random recipe each time, and you don’t unlock already acquired recipes. In other words, you can keep spending scrolls to unlock the Library Flooring and use 25% fewer resources in structures related to the Library Room.
You can use Library Flooring after selecting it from the build section. If you can use DLCs, then you can also use different types of Library Flooring according to your taste. Each Library Flooring type has no other purpose than just being decorative pieces. Lastly, you must cover every tile in your room with Library Flooring to get the Matching Floor bonus.
