Fantasy Life i The Girl Who Steals Time: Where to Buy the Magic Aid Recipe

Like other potion recipes, you can buy the Magic Aid recipe from a merchant. However, it is only available with one particular merchant and is locked behind a higher area rank. To buy the Magic Aid recipe, you need:
- West Greatgut Plains at Area Rank 3
- Cashnuts x 60
The Googlelot tower unlocks the West Greatgut Plains region at the center of Ginormosia. You will need to increase the area rank to level 3 before you can buy the recipe. You can do this by earning area points from completing challenges within the region. Once you have 100 area points, interact with Googlelot and select area rank 2 before pressing “Unlock.” Do the same for area rank 3, but after earning 1000 area points.

The Buffalo Camp is located just south of Ginormosia’s center, as indicated in the image above. Fast-travel to the camp or head over to it. As you enter Buffalo Camp, the Tool Shop will be on the far end, on the left side.
Interact with the Tool Shop vendor Buffalo standing before the fruit stand and choosing “Buy.” Select the “Recipes” tab and find the Magic Aid recipe. Buy it for 60 Cashnuts, and now you can create Magic Aid yourself. The ingredients required to craft Magic Aid are:
- Arch Alcheweed x 3
- Soulweed x 3
- Faraway Spring Water x2
Magic Aid Quest: Seeking a Connection
You will need to craft four Magic Aid+ potions to complete the ‘Seeking a Connection’ quest for Haniwendy. Magic Aid+ is made when top quality is achieved while crafting Magic Aid. You will require high Alchemy tool power to craft Magic Aid+.
Add an Alchemy Buddy to your party to boost it. Make your way over to the workbench with the Alchemist Life equipped, and choose the Magic Aid potion to craft. Once you give the potions to Haniwendy, he will reward you with three Healing Powders and 1,000 Dosh.
