Squirrel Girl is getting her brand-new Sunshine Squirrel costume in Marvel Rivals. The costume suits the island theme that Krakoa ushered in with it in Season 2.0. We can see Squirrel Girl in beach attire in the newly announced costume. This is the second skin she gains in Season 2.0 after the punk costume included with the Season 2 Luxury Battle Pass. Ways To Obtain the Sunshine Squirrel Costume in Marvel Rivals

The new skin will be available on May 9 at 2:00 AM UTC, along with the Sunshine Raccoon costume for Rocket Raccoon. The Sunshine Squirrel costume can be obtained using the following methods:

  • In-game Store
  • Squirrel Girl Hero Profile

The price of the costume and the bundle will be the same. At the time of writing, we don’t have any information on the skin’s price, which won’t be revealed until the release on May 9. However, if it’s a legendary costume, you can expect the bundle to cost 2200 Units; otherwise, it may be priced at 1600 Units instead.

Obtaining the Costume Via In-Game Store

Players can opt to buy the Sunshine Squirrel costume in Marvel Rivals from the Store. They will have to follow the steps given below:

  • Launch Marvel Rivals. Find the Store tab at the top. You will spot the new sunshine costumes in the Featured section.
  • Select the Sunshine Squirrel bundle.
  • You can either buy the skin or the entire bundle. Those buying the skin can click on it to buy it individually. However, players who wish to buy the entire bundle can click the yellow button at the bottom.
  • Buy and equip the cosmetic(s).

Buying Through the Hero Profile

If visiting the Store seems like a big task, you can instead opt for this method. Navigate through the following steps to successfully buy the new Squirrel Girl costume in Marvel Rivals:

  • Once you have reached the home screen after launching Marvel Rivals, visit the Hero tab located at the top.
  • Visit Squirrel Girl’s Hero Profile.
  • Your destination here should be the Cosmetics section. Once there, visit the Costumes tab under it.
  • There will be the Sunshine Squirrel costume waiting for you.
  • Select it. Then, hit the yellow-colored Acquire button in the bottom right corner.
  • Now all you have to do is make the purchase and equip the items you bought.
