Learn how to get the claw scratch marks for your character in PEAK by getting the Megaentomology badge from the Mesa update
You can now claw scratch marks on your character’s face in PEAK, thanks to a newly added mask. The Mesa update, which rolled out a few days back, introduced this mask along with many other additions to the game. It also added various cosmetic upgrades, in-game items, and 10 new badges. This includes a badge called the Megaentomology badge. If you want to unlock the claw scratch marks in the game, you will need to acquire this badge as well.
PEAK: Unlocking the Claw Scratch Marks
Almost every cosmetic item in PEAK is linked to one of the available badges in the game. What this essentially means is that you must first unlock a certain badge before claiming the reward attached to it. As mentioned above, the claw scratch marks look is linked with the Megaentomology badge. Moreover, it is worth noting that this badge is exclusive to the recently added Mesa biome.
To get this badge, you need to survive an Antlion attack. For this, head to the Mesa biome and then look for sandpits on the map. To get into a fight with Antlion, you need to enter these pits. Inside, you will find Antlions. Make sure to go fully prepared. Even one sting from these creatures can make you faint. So make sure that your health is full and that you have a rope to climb your way out of the sandpits.

You need to be quick enough to ensure that the Antlions don’t pull you back inside when you are trying to escape the sandpits. You can climb up using the rope just after interacting with the Antlions. This will get you the prestigious Megaentomology badge in the game. As a reward, you will unlock a mask with the effects of a scratch mark. Equip this newly earned reward to flex in front of your friends.
