Marvel Rivals is bringing “Punkchild” to the game. This is a new costume for the limbo queen, which she will use to stalk the backline. The skin brings a “rock” style with it while also giving it a cyberpunk theme at the same time. Magik still looks as intimidating as ever, thanks to the spikes on the armored gear she is wearing. The costume somewhat reminds us of the Blood Kariudo skin for Psylocke because they both have similar bangs.

Getting Magik’s Punkchild Skin

Marvel Rivals’ social media team announced two “punk” skins at once. One for Bruce Banner and the other for Magik. Both of these will be released on the same day on February 28th, 2025, at 2:00 AM UTC. Players can change the UTC time to their regional time zone based on any online converter.

Until the skins have arrived, it is difficult to pinpoint where they will exactly be. However, since all brand-new skins show up in the same location in the Store, follow these instructions to buy the Punkchild skin in Marvel Rivals:

  • Visit the in-game Store using the timeline on the top after you log into the game

  • Head to the Featured section and find the Punkchild costume beside the new Hulk “Punk Rage” costume.

  • Select the costume, and you will find that the entire bundle is available for 2200 Units while the skin is available for 2000 Units instead. Click on the Units depending on what you want to buy.

  • If you don’t want to visit the Store, you can also go to Magik’s Hero Profile, head to the Cosmetics section, select the skin under Costumes, and buy it from there.

  • Once the payment is done, it’s time to equip your new cosmetics.

Equipping Magik’s Punkchild Skin

When you finally have possession of your desired skin, all you have to do is get to Magik’s Hero Profile and head over to the Cosmetics section. You will find yourself in the “Costume” tab. Now, select the Costume you bought and simply equip it using the prompt on the bottom right. The same steps will follow for all other Cosmetics in the bundle as well.

Head to the MVP tab beside the Costumes tab and equip your new MVP animation. Repeat the same under the Emote and Spray tabs, assigning the newly acquired cosmetics to your interaction wheel. As for the Nameplate, you will have to head to your Career Overview on the top right corner of your Home Screen and then go to Customize to select the new Nameplate.
