First, the Time-Stealing Arrow enchantment will slow an enemy you hit with this bow by 15% for 5 seconds. This debuff will apply not only to normal enemy mobs but also work on stronger boss monsters.
Secondly, the Parting Shot enchantment bonus will give you a buff of +20% Move Speed for 5 seconds after any successful power attack. In Avowed, you execute a power attack by holding the attack button for a charge. They consume twice as much stamina but also deal more Stun damage to your target.

How to Get Ancient Alacrity in Avowed?
To get the Ancient Alacrity bow in Avowed you must follow the main quest all the way to Solace in the fourth region of Galawain’s Tusks. This quest is called ‘Our Dreams Divide Us Still’ and the city leade Mihala will send you into the Lava Tubes to find Kostya. Kostya was supposed to be down there releasing the Sluice Gates so that the lava wouldn’t destroy Solace.
Next, follow the quest marker down to the entrance to the Lava Tubes and go inside. Keep moving forward until you reach a large open room, glowing purple with an altar in the center. There will be a spellcasting boss called Sibelius that you must defeat.
Afterwards, head up the stairs at the back of the room and you’ll find a series of doors. The first door at the top will take 5 lockpicks to open. Inside you will find the Ancient Alacrity bow.
How to Use Ancient Alacrity in Avowed?
The Ancient Alacrity bow in Avowed is most effective when equipped on a Ranger build or as a secondary weapon for a sword-and-shield Fighter. Rangers, with their focus on ranged damage, will reap the full benefits of the bow’s enchantments. Especially if you unlock passives in their skill tree including Steady Aim, Marksmanship, Sniper, and Staggering Shot.
