One of the ways to earn more Carats is by leveling up the Archive. You will need to play the game for a long amount of time to level up your Archive to the maximum level, so get ready.
What is the Archive in Umamusume Pretty Derby
The Archive is where the game records all of your achievements and the events you have seen. In the Archive, you can rewatch the events and dialogues that occurred during your Career runs. You can also see the stats for your individual Umamusume across certain Career runs. Moreover, you have the option to view their personal records in the Archive.

How To Level Up Your Archive in Umamusume Pretty Derby
The way to increase your Archive level is by obtaining Archive exp. Archive exp is gotten from various means, such as:
- Progressing the album
- Unlocking and viewing stories
- Obtaining new videos to watch
- Unlocking voices
- Unlocking epithets to use for your Umamusume
- Obtaining scenes for the gallery
These are some of the ways in which you can earn more Archive exp. After obtaining enough of it, your Archive level will increase, with each level up giving more rewards.

What Do You Get For Leveling Up Your Archive?
The Archive goes up to a max level of 200. However, leveling up the archive takes a significant amount of time. So, you are unlikely to reach the level cap any time soon. Fortunately, every level in the archive comes with rewards.
From Archive levels 1 to 99, each increase in levels gives 50 Carats. Meanwhile, reaching Archive level 100 gives 500 Carats, a significant bounty indeed. Levels 101 to 199 give 75 Carats each, an increase from the earlier 50. Finally, reaching Archive level 200 gives 500 Carats once more, just like level 100.
