The Golshi Week Celebration Hijack is a lucrative free event taking place over two weeks from August 7 to August 22. Mascoted by everyone’s favorite dropkicker, Gold Ship herself, the event provides an unprecedented chance to earn Carats and Star Pieces for the Global Version. However, GW (Golshi Week) has a boatload of special missions to get through and very limited time to do so. This guide outlines the most important missions to complete first based on their rewards and an easy method to make the most of the event.
How To Get the Best Rewards from Golshi Week Celebration Hijack in Umamusume: Pretty Derby
GW Celebration Hijack has 56 missions to complete, which will require you to complete over 30 careers to finish them all. Since most players won’t be able to spend enough time to finish all the missions, the best approach is to target the most lucrative ones. The GW rewards include:
- 5,640 Carats
- 28 Gold Ship Star Pieces
- 1,200,000 Monies
- Winner’s Sashes
- Support Points
- Alarm Clocks
- SR+ Guaranteed Make Debut Ticket
- Free Daily Scout
Log in Every Day
The most valuable reward offered by the event is 5,640 Carats, nearly all of which comes from the daily login bonus. To claim it, simply log in every day after the game’s daily rest time during the GW event. Learn about the game’s reset time for your region here.
You also have access to a free Scout with each login as an added bonus. Additionally, you can use the daily login as an opportunity to play Team Trials at least five times, using up all your RP. Doing so for 11 days will allow you to complete the 5,000 SP (Support Card Points) mission.
Target Gold Ship Star Pieces Missions
After Carats, Gold Ship Star Pieces are the most valuable rewards to win during the GW Celebration Hijack. The event is the perfect time to upgrade your Gold Ship to 3 stars if you haven’t already. Completing all the following missions will give you 28 Gold Ship Star Pieces:
- Win Satsuki Sho in career
- Win Tenno Sho (Spring) in career
- Win 7 G2 Races in career
- Win 128 Races in career
- Complete a Gold Ship career with at least 5,640 fans
- Obtain 564,000 fans in career during the event
- Complete a career with at least 13 wins
- Win 4 Medium races in Team Trials
- Complete 15 Golshi Week special missions
Most of these missions are relatively easy to complete over a few career runs and don’t require too much time or grinding. If you still fall short of upgrading Gold Ship’s star level, the Friendship Points Exchange is offering 5 Gold Ship Star Pieces for 2,000 Friendship Points. The offer can be availed 10 times during the event, potentially giving you access to 50 more Gold Ship Star Pieces.
Complete 200 Career Goals
The final reward you should aim to get during the event is the SR+ Guaranteed Make Debut Ticket. To claim it, you have to clear 200 career goals during the GW event. Each career has an average of 10 goals for you to complete, which means you will need to finish 20 careers during the event to claim the ticket. You will likely reach this number of career completions while working on the Gold Ship Star Pieces Missions of winning races.
