Players will get all the DLC and Expansions of the original Elder Scrolls IV released in 2006. However, Oblivion Remastered’s Deluxe Edition offers two exclusive bonus quests alongside a Digital Artbook and a soundtrack app. These quests also have some coveted rewards, such as the Cataclysm or Order Armor, horse armor, and of course, weapons.

Here is a breakdown detailing how you can access and play these Deluxe Edition quests.

How To Start Oblivion Remastered’s Deluxe Edition Quests

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered Deluxe Edition features two bonus quests. These are “Burning Trail” and “A Wound in Time.” During the Burning Trail questline, players will have to go through various notes that will eventually point them towards a mysterious cult of Mehrunes Dagon worshippers. And the latter, A Wound in Time, will give players the task of helping a priest and defeating a Lich that has invaded and captured a cave in Anvil.

Starting these quests can be tricky because you won’t find them in your journal right away. Instead, you will have to ask various NPCs about rumors until one of them tells you about the Mythic Dawn notes or a Priest in Kvatch. Once you have uncovered one of these quests, you can simply select it as your main objective and follow the map marker that appears. In addition to that, keep in mind that you don’t have to be a specific level to play these two quests, and you can start them anytime you wish.

What To Do During The Oblivion Remastered Deluxe Edition Quests?

You will be able to find the first Mythic Dawn note in the Talos Plaza. It will be attached to a barrel near the fountain in the centre. After that, all you have to do is follow the hints in the notes, and you will stumble across the Mehrunes Dagon worshippers eventually. Additionally, to begin the Priest or Akatosh quest in Oblivion Remastered, first, you will need to travel to Kvatch. Once you are there, look for an NPC named Ilav Dralgoner. He will be somewhere near the road that goes up the hill towards the Oblivion Gate. After that, speak to him, and Ilav will guide you towards the Priest, near an Anyleid Ruin located north of Anvil.

Players will get a total of six different rewards for completing the exclusive quests. After you have completed each of the quests mentioned earlier, you will get to pick the weapon and armor of your choice from a particular NPC related to that specific mission. During this interaction, you can choose a heavy or a light version of each of the armor sets as well as a blunt, blade, or bow weapon of your choice.

Once you have successfully defeated the Lich during the A Wound in Time quest, go back to Ilav Dralgoner and select the equipment option. After that, you will get to pick a weapon and armor from the exclusive Order Set. On the other hand, to get your hands on the armor and weapons of the Cataclysm set, you will have to complete the Burning Trail quest. You can do so by sacrificing the man at the end of the mission, which will grant you the ability to summon Mehrune’s Harbinger. Then you can simply speak to her to collect your rewards.

Lastly, remember that neither of the Armor Sets will come with enchantments or perks. However, they still boast great stats, especially for early or mid-game.

Get the Horse Armor Set As Well

The Horse Armors are also rewards for completing the Burning Trail and A Wound in Time quests. To collect it, you will have to meet Snak gra-Bura. She will be at the Chestnut Honey Stables, located in the western part of the Imperial City. Once you are there, speak to her, and you will get the option to equip your horse with the Oblivion Remastered Deluxe Edition Horse Armor. However, if you do not have a horse, you can ask Snak gra-Bura for one.
