Dragon Ball Sparking Zero is the latest edition of the Dragon Ball franchise. The action fighting game is releasing today, October 11, 2024, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Developed by Spike Chunsoft and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, this game serves as the sequel to the long-awaited legendary DRAGON BALL Z: BUDOKAI TENKAICHI series.
Collecting Dragon Balls and summoning Shenron is an iconic moment in the Dragon Ball franchise, which is retained in the Dragon Ball Sparking Zero gameplay. Players need to collect 7 dragon balls to summon Shenron, Porunga, and Super Shenron to ask for a wish. Since they are rare items in the game, collecting them is not easy. Obtaining the Dragon Balls requires effort, and here we are going to share all the secrets to get them.
Fastest Way to Farm Dragon Balls in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero
There is no specific guaranteed way to get Dragon Balls. They are randomly rewarded for winning online and offline battles, story mode, or what-if battles. Basically, every battle you win offers a chance to receive Dragon Balls. Competing in more versus battles increases your chances of obtaining Dragon Balls.
You can get several Dragon Balls during the Episode Battles and through Whis and Zen-oh’s side missions. Completing Tournaments also rewards you with some Dragon Balls.
Once you run out of Dragon Balls, you can play online or offline versus battles to obtain them. This strategy can also be used to increase the proficiency level of the characters you are using.
Method Setup
You need to equip a character with a powerful ki blast with a shorter animation, such as Gogeta (Super). You need to equip the Rising Fighting Spirit item to the character, which can be available at the in-game shop for 150,000 Zeni. The item is used to start the battle with maximum Ki energy. You can also use Latent Power Unleashed if your character’s Ki blast requires only two bars of Ki.
Enter offline versus battle mode and customize the settings by choosing the World Tournament map and turning on the out-of-bounds option. Choose any weak character as the opponent, especially a non-flying character.
Method Execution
Once the setup is complete, perform the Ki blast attack as soon as the match begins. It throws the opponent out of bounds and ends the match quickly. Claim the reward and restart the match. This whole process will take up to 25-30 seconds. So, repeat this process to obtain Dragon Balls quickly. You can have a limit of 7 Dragon Balls in your inventory at any given time.
This method was used to get Dragon Balls for Shenron and Porunga. A Shenron Dragon Ball can be expected every 5-10 fights, while Porunga Dragon Balls may take 20-30 fights. The method cannot be used to obtain Super Shenron’s Dragon Balls, as they can’t be acquired from versus battles. You can summon Shenron, Porunga, and Super Shenron once you get 7 Dragon Balls for each.
