If you are stacked up on Chrono Tokens, let us show you how to spend them properly before Marvel Rivals Season 0 is over.

Chrono Tokens, or the “purple currency,” in Marvel Rivals could be complicated to understand. However, in simple terms, it is an in-game currency that you don’t necessarily need to buy using real-world money. It is similar to Units in this regard. The only difference is that the latter is more difficult to obtain than the purple ones.

You can earn these tokens by completing missions in the Challenges window. You can access these from the left side of the Home Screen itself. Also, complete all the Daily, Weekly/Monthly, and Seasonal Event Challenges to earn these tokens.

The best, and quite frankly, the only way to spend these tokens is by accessing the Battle Pass. For Season 0, the Chronovium Battle Pass is available. Some items are unlocked for all, and you can buy them using the tokens. Some are locked and can only be accessed using the Luxury Battle Pass. It’s just a fancy term for “buying” the Battle Pass.

So, technically speaking, you can spend your stacked tokens in the Battle Pass. In fact, there are 5 pages in this Battle Pass that you can unlock. Each of them is unlocked once you hit a certain milestone in collecting the tokens. Don’t worry. You can spend them as you earn them; the game will keep counting how much more you need to earn to access a specific Battle Pass page.

The process of spending the purple currency can be a bit different for those who have bought it and those who haven’t. Let us walk you through it.

For Free Battle Pass Users

  • PAGE 1: Galactic Claw nameplate, Galactic Claw spray
  • PAGE 2: Power of Yggdrasill emote, God of Magic spray, 100 Units

For Luxury Battle Pass Users

Those who purchase the Battle Pass still have to collect Chrono Tokens to unlock the items within it. Consider them the equivalent of earning “XP” for Call of Duty Battle Passes. Only the Galactic Claw skin for Black Panther is free at purchase. All the skins from then onward cost 400 Chrono Tokens, while all the leftover items cost 200 Chrono Tokens instead. Not to forget that the cosmetics listed for the Free Battle Pass users above are also available.
