Spider-Man’s Spider-Tracer has never been more useful out of combat in Marvel Rivals than today. The game has given it more importance thanks to the new Seasonal Event as part of Season 1. Even if you have used Spider-Man before, this might confuse you.

The fourth story in the Midnight Features unraveled to be about Spider-Man on the second page of the newspaper. You can see it by going to the Events section of the Season tab. As usual, you have to complete three challenges. But one of them is utterly confusing. It asks you to trigger Spider-Tracer 10 times as Spider-Man in Quick Match, Competitive, or Practice vs AI.

Spider-Tracer is the web icon that appears on an enemy once you hit them with your Ultimate or secondary attack (web shooters). This can then be used to zip to an enemy and attack them immediately using Get Over Here! Using the latter without the Spider-Tracer active will allow you to pull an enemy to you. But that’s not what the challenge is about.

All you have to do is use your Ultimate and secondary attack on enemies to trigger the Spider-Tracer in Marvel Rivals as Spider-Man. Do this 10 times to complete the challenge. Another alternative is for you to upvote 3 allies who primarily used Spider-Man in a match.

Completing the Spider-Tracer Ability Easily in Marvel Rivals

Not everybody is a pro at playing Spider-Man in Marvel Rivals. To be honest, I understand the deal behind it. He is pretty difficult to control because of his agility and quick movement. Not only does that make him a formidable enemy, but also a hero that requires some mastery.

So, unless you are ready to ruin a match or two by going 0-9, we have a better deal for you. If you wish to prove your in-game prowess, launch the Practice Range and keep practicing the character until you feel you are ready to use him in an actual match. But there is another way.

As the challenge suggests, you can also trigger the Spider-Tracer in Practice vs AI. Go to the modes section in the Play tab and select Practice vs AI on the far right. You can adjust its difficulty before clicking. Once you make the match the easiest, or difficult as per your own taste, select Spider-Man and do what you must, to complete that challenge.

This way, you are not losing any significant matches against other players and still completing the challenge. Don’t forget to complete all the stories in the Midnight Features to earn a free Thor skin.
