Pistols are among the weapons you can unlock in Sniper Elite Resistance. These sidearms offer unique perks and can be deadly in close to mid-range encounters. There are several reasons to collect these pistols in the game. Some are viable in almost any mission, while others are more situational.
Furthermore, the developers have designed these weapons to be faithful to their real-life counterparts, making them a great addition for fans of World War II weaponry.

List of All Pistols in Sniper Elite Resistance and How to Unlock
You can unlock pistols in the game by completing objectives that are unique for each sidearm:
- Modele 1935A: Given at the Start of the Game.
- Welrod: Given at the Start of the Game.
- M1911: Purchase the Deluxe Edition of Sniper Elite Resistance.
- Nagant M1895: Complete the Kill Challenge in Mission 2: Dead Drop.
- Star Ruby: Complete Mission 4 Collision Course.
- Hi-Power 9mm: Complete Mission 8: End of the Line.
- M1912: Complete All of the three Propaganda Mission Types.

Nagant M1895
The Nagant M1895 is a reward for completing the kill challenge in Dead Drop. Your target for this optional mission is Philo Beck who is inside a restaurant. You can approach this mission through stealth or go guns blazing. As long as you can complete the challenge and the mission, you unlock the Nagant M1895.
Star Ruby
You unlock the Star Ruby after you complete the 4th Mission Collision Course in Sniper Elite Resistance. In this mission, you try to destroy any salvaged technology that the Nazis have acquired in their temporary camp.
Hi-Power 9mm
The Hi-Power 9mm can be acquired after completing the End of Line mission. The objective of this mission is to stop armored and weaponized trains called Zugwerfers from leaving the station.
M1912
You can unlock the M1912 pistol by completing all propaganda mission types. There are three types of propaganda challenges and a total of seven challenges to complete:
- Stealth challenges require you to eliminate enemies within the time limit while not being detected by enemies.
- Snipe challenges force you to take down enemies from a long distance with limited resources and a time limit.
- Combat challenges are where you can make it rain bullets and kill all targets within the time limit.
Finishing all of them will unlock the pistol for your loadout.
