Adin Ross has officially announced his departure from Kick and that he will be working on being reinstated on Twitch.

The 24-year-old streamer has officially announced his departure from Kick. There were several speculations that Adin would be leaving Kick since November of 2024. Controversial streamer Sneako announced that Adin would be leaving Kick and moving to Rumble. Ross has also said that he would be “fully focused” on being reinstated on Twitch.
Adin has announced that he has stepped down from his duties at the Stake-backed platform. Adin posted from his alternate account on X and said:
“I will be making a full video on why I am leaving kick indefinitely, I am stepping down officially and I will be going into detail about this, this week. I will tell you all everything. With that being said, I am going to fully focus on being reinstated on twitch. Thank you”
Adin hadn’t streamed for a while, which had netizens wondering about the future of Kick. Many believe that Kick would lose monthly viewers and eventually “die.”.
Community’s Reaction to Adin’s Announcement
The announcement was a breath of fresh air for fans waiting on Adin to stream. Many fans and streamers reacted to the announcement and wondered what would be next for the streamer.

Netizens reacted to the state of the platforms citing multiple reasons. Earlier this year, Twitch CEO Dan Clancy, on a call with StableRonaldo, stated that he is open to a conversation with Adin.

This sentiment echoes Twitch CEO Dan Clancy’s openness to giving banned streamers a “second chance,” provided they can demonstrate genuine behavioral change. Kick co-founder Bijan Tehrani, however, remains confident about Kick’s position in the streaming industry, signalling a competitive future for the platform and its creators.
