Everything you need to know about the Sakuratide α armor in Monster Hunter Wilds, its stats, and whether it’s worth crafting or not.

Monster Hunter Wilds’ Blossomdance seasonal event comes with several new additions and themed decorations. While the Blossomdance’s themed decorations across the Grand Hub are quite impressive, the real highlights of the seasonal event are the new armor sets added to the game, particularly the Sakuratide α armor set. Themed around the Blossomtide and the Sakuratide season, the armor set offers a unique look, which sets it apart from other craftable armor in the game. However, Sakuratide α isn’t just a Layered Armor. Instead, it’s a rather compelling Rarity 6 armor set with some stellar default skills and base stats.
However, is it really worth crafting, especially if you’re already in Monster Hunter Wilds’ endgame? Here’s everything you need to know about the Sakuratide α armor set in Monster Hunter Wilds and whether it’s worth crafting.
How To Obtain the Sakuratide α Armor in Monster Hunter Wilds?

The Sakuratide α armor set is obtained as part of the Blossomdance seasonal event. You can craft this armor set at the Blacksmith during the ongoing event using Blossomdance Tickets. As for the Blossomdance Tickets, you can obtain these resources through various means. You get 1 Blossomdance Ticket every day as part of the Login Bonus. Furthermore, you can get more of these resources by completing the new Event Quests and the Daily Bounties. During the Blossomdance event, Bounties will be refreshed every single day. As such, you will have plenty of opportunities to obtain ample Blossomdance Tickets to craft the new armor sets.
Since Sakuratide α is a Rarity 6 armor set, it doesn’t cost much to craft. However, you should note that you can only craft this armor after you have unlocked the Grand Hub, meaning you will need to reach HR 15 before you can get the new armor set.
Is Sakuratide α Armor Worth Crafting?

The Sakuratide α armor set is a pretty good choice, albeit for the first few hours of the High Rank campaign. If you’ve already reached the end-game in Monster Hunter Wilds, you won’t find much use out of this armor set, unless you plan on doing challenge hunts or Arena Quests. The Sakuratide α armor set comes with Foray (Level 5), Quick Sheath (Level 3), Item Prolonger (Level 3), and Adaptability (Level 2). As such, it’s a great option for weapons like Long Sword, Great Sword, or even the Switch Axe. The armor also has a base Defense of 181 and offers good resistance against all elemental statuses (save for Thunderblight).
While you won’t find much use out of this armor set in your end-game build, it’s still worth crafting due to its looks. The Sakuratide α serves as a great Layered Armor option. And since it doesn’t cost much to craft, it’s best to keep it in your inventory just as a Layered Armor, after all, fashion is the true end-game in Monster Hunter Wilds.
