Will the PS Plus subscribers benefit from the release of The Midnight Walk? Is the new horror game going to be in the catalogue?
The Midnight Walk was recently released outside of the PS Plus catalogue. The game came out on May 8, 2025. Does this mean that the gamers subscribed to PS Plus will get to enjoy this game as part of the game catalogue? Let’s learn whether The Midnight Walk is coming to the PlayStation-exclusive gaming subscription.
Will The Midnight Walk Be on PS Plus?
So far, the game is available at a 10% discount price for PS Plus users. However, it is not a PS Plus release title. This means that the game is currently not available on PS Plus. PlayStation users who have subscribed to any PS Plus tier won’t be able to play The Midnight Walk for free. But will it eventually arrive on the service?
There is no confirmation regarding when and if The Midnight Walk will arrive on the PS gaming service. Those who wish to experience the claymation world filled with horrors beyond human comprehension will have to buy it. However, the exclusivity regarding this game suggests that it might hop on the PS Plus catalogue, eventually.
Which Platforms Can Enjoy The Midnight Walk?
The Midnight Walk is identified as a “PlayStation Exclusive” at the moment. However, it’s not the same kind of exclusive as their first-party games. Instead, it is similar to Helldivers in its exclusivity model. This means that players on PS5 and PC can both enjoy the experience of a claymation horror game. PC players can buy the game from Steam.
On both platforms, the game fully supports VR. So, if you have a PSVR2 or Steam VR, you can have an enhanced horror experience, otherwise, the regular version of the game will suffice. Thus far, there have been no announcements regarding the game’s arrival on Xbox. Unless the release is confirmed, we can’t say much about The Midnight Walk’s Xbox Game Pass release either.
