The Precinct is now available on all platforms, but is the game included in the PS Plus game catalogue for players to enjoy?

Will PS Plus players get access to The Precinct right away? PlayStation users must have thought of this at least once while looking at the game’s release date. The Precinct is now available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5. Before this, players could only wishlist the game, but now they can also buy it. What about the PS Plus subscribers, though? Are they getting the game for free as a reward?
The Precinct’s Connection to PS Plus

PS Plus has three tiers: Essential, Extra, and Deluxe. Essential is required to play paid multiplayer games and gives you three free games each month. If you add them to your library, they are yours to download for as long as your subscription is active. The Extra tier gives you access to a much larger Games Catalogue. It includes several hit AAA titles and some first and third-party PlayStation exclusives as well. Deluxe, however, also adds some retro and VR games to the mix on top of the existing catalogue and multiplayer access.
Unfortunately, The Precinct is not available on any PS Plus tier at the time of writing. This means that the game was an independent launch title. They did not utilise any subscriptions to sell their copies during launch. So, PlayStation users will have to buy the game if they wish to play it. In the future, there is a possibility that the game will be added to either the Essential or Extra tier. If not, the price may go down when the PS Plus discount offers for subscription members kick in.
