Adin Ross said in an interview that college is a failed system, but he does not want to judge people for their choices.
Kick streamer Adin Ross appeared in an interview with YouTuber Alex G on January 16, 2025. During the interview, Ross said that college education is a “failed system” that puts people in debt. However, he acknowledged that some professions require formal education and people need it.
Adin Ross claimed that he knew people who graduated college and were working regular jobs in their hometown. Ross thinks the education system “sucks”, but he does not want to judge anybody because people have to learn things by themselves.
The interview also went over topics like censorship, money, and livestreaming. Alex G and Adin Ross collaborated to promote Ross’ upcoming Brand Risk boxing events which are taking place throughout the United States.
Adin Ross Talks About the State of Formal Education
Alex G and Adin Ross talked about college education and whether it is necessary in today’s world. Ross claimed that college is an outdated system and that people can be successful without a degree. He said:
“Look, if you want to go to college, be a doctor or a lawyer, you know what you have to do, you have a plan, great! If you’re going to college just to be in debt and just to party, and all this sh*t, it’s cool to experience stuff and meet people.”

Ross claimed that he knew people who just graduated college at his age (24 years old). Those people are allegedly in their hometowns working regular jobs. He added:
“You’re in debt and now you’ve got…you know, it just sucks. It’s a system. It’s a failed system. But I don’t judge anybody. I think that people, you have to go through things to learn yourself, and that’s what’s part of growing up in life is about.”
Ross attended Woodlake Union High School, but he did not pursue a college degree. He said he was interested in streaming at a young age which is why he chose to pursue streaming as a profession.
Ross Speaks up Against Censorship on Online Platforms
Twitch permanently banned Adin Ross in 2023 because of hateful conduct. The streamer showed his Kick chat during his Twitch livestream which allegedly had racist and antisemitic messages from his viewers. The streamer brought up online censorship during the Alex G interview and said:
“I’ve always been very vocal about what I believe in. If I feel some type about something, I’m never going to mask it. I’m never going to hide it. I’m going to speak on it. You know, every single time I’ve ever had a thought, I’ve ever had a thought or an opinion, I’ll just voice it. I don’t care who likes it, who doesn’t like it.”
The streamer claimed that he lost money for voicing his opinions and spoke out against censorship. He said people also criticize him for defending controversial streamer Nicholas “Sneako” who was banned from multiple platforms. Ross claimed people should be able to say what they want to say and if others disagree, they can leave.
