Playboi Carti is seemingly releasing his third album this week, and it has Twitch streamers excited for his new songs.
Rapper Playboi Carti is finally releasing his third album after teasing it for five years, and it has prompted Twitch streamers to react to the news. FaZe Clan CEO Richard “Banks” Bengston seemingly talked to Carti about the upcoming album and found out that it will be released on March 14, 2025.
Other FaZe Clan members like Rani “Stable Ronaldo” Metz and Maxwell “Plaqueboymax” Elliot Dent also shared their excitement for the upcoming album. Playboi Carti titled his upcoming album I AM MUSIC, and he talked about what it means to him:
“I’ve been rapping about going to rehab. I want to go to rehab because I think I’m bipolar… want everybody to feel free. I want this album to make everyone feel free.”
Streamers React to Carti’s Upcoming Album
Playboi Carti texted multiple Twitch streamers to promote his upcoming album. Twitch streamer Kai Cenat was one of the first to reveal that Carti is planning to release his album this week. He said:
“Bro, to my mother, Carti’s manager just texted me.”

Cenat showed his phone to his fans and said Carti is releasing his album on March 14, 2025. FaZe Clan’s Banks and Plaqueboymax also received texts from Carti that seemingly confirmed the album’s release date.
FaZe Clan member Stable Ronaldo told Carti:
“Hey carti, don’t rush art. I speak for EVERYBODY, it’s okay if you delay the album more”

Internet users immediately lashed out at Stable Ronaldo because they are excited to listen to Carti’s new album. The artist first teased the upcoming album in 2020, and it has been five years since its announcement.
Carti Has “Something To Prove” With His New Album
Playboi Carti revealed details about his upcoming album to German magazine Numéro Berlin. Carti talked about the importance of the album, stating:
“It’s very important to me because I feel like I have something to prove. I’m just excited, you know? This is my moment, this is the one for me.”

Carti also talked about how his lyricism has become more internal over time and how he wants to express himself more with his music:
“I was recording, in a cave, for like three months, and all the music that came out of that is just chaotic and crazy. Then, I’m in a glass house, somewhere in the hills, and the music there is just very good to the ears. And then, I’m in Atlanta and the tensions are just high and the music is biting. So, it’s the little things like that that keep me going, because I’m just trying to talk to myself.”
After five years of waiting, Playboi Carti fans will finally get to listen to his new album on March 14, 2025.
