KSI revealed that they might invite DanTDM to the Sidemen Charity Match 2024, says he intends to slide tackle him.
UK-based YouTuber, Sidemen member, and boxer JJ “KSI” had quite a dramatic 2024, which included a feud with fellow Minecraft YouTuber Daniel “DanTDM.” Despite the controversy, JJ recently revealed that the Sidemen are thinking about inviting DanTDM to the upcoming Sidemen Charity Match 2025. The Sidemen Charity Match is a series of exhibition football (soccer) matches that are played annually. While the group did not host this event this year, they have announced that it will return in 2025.
Tickets for the event have already been sold, reflecting the massive craze behind the upcoming event. The match will be scheduled for March 8, 2025 (Saturday). It will be played in Wembley Stadium, which boasts a whopping 90K capacity. The host team (Sidemen FC) always features the seven members of the group. Aside from their expected inclusion, there hasn’t been any official announcement regarding other players.
One surprise inclusion could be Minecraft YouTuber DanTDM. Despite KSI’s seemingly vitriolic rants against him earlier this year, the Sidemen could potentially invite him to play the game. Speaking about the situation, JJ said:
“I think we (Sidemen) might be asking him (DanTDM) to do the Sidemen Charity Match 2025. I don’t think he’s going to, but, you never know.”
He also added his intentions to “slide-tackle” DanTDM if he were to play the game. The YouTuber said:
“If he does do it and he has the ball, brother, I don’t care if I’m in the goal (goalkeeper), I don’t care if I’m center-back (defender), or on the bench, I’m coming out of nowhere to slide-tackle that motherf**ker.”

What Was the Feud Between KSI and DanTDM?
YouTuber KSI is a well-known figure within the online community. Despite his widespread popularity, he faced significant criticism following his feud with DanTDM. For context, Dan called out KSI, MrBeast, and Logan Paul for launching Lunchly.
Lunchly is a pre-cooked meal box brand launched by the trio earlier this year. However, DanTDM criticized the product, stating that it was potentially harmful to children and not a healthy option. He wrote:
“This is selling stuff for the sake of making money, simple. How does this benefit their fans? This is selling crap to kids who don’t know better than to trust the people who are selling it to them.”
