The Bang Bang Batting Center is unlocked during Chapter 2 of the game, when you visit Madlantis. It is located near the Dunghill Bar. Here, a man will invite you to participate in an introductory round. After the practice rounds are dealt with, you can play the game whenever you want by going to Madlantis.

You might want to keep coming back and playing this mini-game as it rewards you a lot for acquiring a large amount of points

In the Bang Bang Batting minigame, a cannonball will be fired at you. Your goal is to launch it with a baseball bat and destroy stacks of barrels to earn the treasure behind them. Destroyed barrels are replaced by any remaining barrels above them.

The cannonball will be launched at varying speeds. Moreover, these speeds can be inferred from the angle of the cannon before firing. The higher the cannon is aimed, the longer it will take for the ball to reach you. Additionally, there are five levels of speed for the cannonball. The fastest is when the cannon is aimed directly at you, so prepare accordingly for the different speeds.

One of the tools at your disposal is the special shot. This can be used to destroy all barrels on the screen. Although this is an extremely powerful tool, letting it remain unused will score you extra points at the end depending on how many uses you have left. Therefore, at least in the standard mode, it is better to avoid using the special shot unless necessary.

Types Of Barrels

There are also different types of barrels in the game. The main ones to look for are the red explosive barrels. These destroy all barrels adjacent to them when destroyed, and can quickly cause a chain reaction. Other special barrels include missile barrels, which destroy all barrels in the direction in which they are aiming.

Moreover, there are two types of replenishment barrels, which grant you one cannonball or restore one use of your special shot when destroyed. These are specific to the endless mode.

Game Modes

There are two game modes: the standard mode and the endless mode. The standard mode has numerous stages of difficulty. Each stage not only has more rounds of barrels to destroy, but more difficult patterns and ball speeds as well.

Meanwhile, in Endless mode, you can keep going until you run out of balls to hit. However, it costs more than the standard mode to attempt.
