Once you have started Chapter 2 of the main story, you are called to the Revolve Bar. After you are done talking inside, a cutscene plays automatically when you exit the bar. Here, you meet the NPC named Kamulop and start the “Kamulop, Fortunes Unfolded” side mission. This is a fairly simple mission—follow Kamulop to the shrine and beat up some thugs. Doing this opens the Fortune Exchange Shop.

After the side mission, you can find Kamulop to the east of the Revolve Bar and interact with him to open the Fortune Exchange Shop. Here, you can exchange fortune points for various types of rewards, such as crewmates, CDs, clothing items, and more.

Obtaining fortune points is fairly simple. You need to collect fortune tickets all around Honolulu to obtain fortune points. Moreover, these tickets are easy to spot—you have to look for small white papers with a golden shine coming off them. Once you pick one up, it won’t spawn back, so you have to check different areas to get more tickets. Lastly, the quality of the ticket determines how many points it gives, with the amounts being:

  • One point for a Bad Fortune ticket.
  • Two points for a Modest Fortune ticket.
  • Three points for a Good Fortune ticket.
  • Four points for a Great Fortune ticket.
