Everything you need to know about Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii’s PC port, including system requirements, file size, and more.

SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku (RGG) Studio have finally revealed details on the PC system requirements for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. The latest title in the iconic Yakuza series is set to release on February 20, 2025. Much like the previous few Yakuza games (mainline and spin-off), Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is a cross-gen title.
However, despite that, RGG Studios seems to have pushed the game’s visuals to the limit, as is evident by the system specifications. The game is optimized for both current-gen and previous-gen hardware. However, the PC version is seemingly shipping with the current-gen version of the title, offering significantly better lighting, textures, and shaders.
In addition to that, Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii also comes with support for upscalers, which will allow players to further boost their frame rates. Here’s everything you need to know about Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii’s PC version, system requirements, and more.

Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, much like the past Yakuza games, is mostly VRAM-bound. In terms of CPU, the game seems to feature roughly the same specifications as the previous titles in the series. However, when it comes to GPU, the latest title requires at least 4 GB of VRAM. That is for 1080p at 30fps, with upscaling enabled. If you want to play the game at 1440p or higher resolutions, you will need more than 6 GB of VRAM.
Furthermore, based on the system specifications, the game is shipping with only FSR support. SEGA has not mentioned anything regarding DLSS. However, it is possible that the game might feature DLSS in a post-launch update.
