First, let’s discuss Sanctum Sanctorum—Doctor Strange’s mystical headquarters in downtown Manhattan and one of the most eagerly anticipated new maps. This map is part of the release of Season 1. It features floating pots and pans, tentacles emerging from a fridge, and hidden libraries behind walls. The map’s narrow passageways and expansive open areas provide plenty of cover and opportunities for ambushes and large-scale battles.

Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown

Second is Midtown—another map that will be released alongside the Season 1 update. It recreates a few blocks in Midtown Manhattan. The map’s centerpiece is the Avengers Tower and it includes narrow streets, crumbling buildings, and abandoned cars. Midtown is designed primarily for Convoy matches, with its narrow lanes perfectly suited to moving objectives and forced confrontations.

Empire of Eternal Night: Central Park

Central Park is the most enigmatic of the new maps and not much information about this map can be found in the early trailers. The expected release of the map is in the second half of the season, likely between late February and mid-March. For now, the map’s appearance remains largely a mystery. However, hints in the Season 1 announcement trailer suggest it will feature tree-lined ruins and a gothic castle. Central Park’s Belvedere Castle has likely inspired these details.
