Mecha Break has the option to play with friends, but the option is unfortunately locked behind a hard-to-find menu.

Mecha Break is the hot new PvP shooter on the market, and a lot of this game’s success comes from its superb mech-on-mech action. You get to run around in powerful mechs, using unique abilities to decimate your enemies. Since the game is PvP, you also get to indulge in the mech fantasy with friends, further adding to the fun.
Mecha Break puts a great emphasis on the social elements, allowing you to hang out with friends both in and out of matches. You can invite friends to hang out with you in the Mecha Break bar or gym, allowing you to grab a few drinks, hit the weights together, or simply click photos.
There’s a lot of fun to be had with friends in Mecha Break, and if you haven’t added friends already, we don’t blame you because the system is weirdly complicated. The option to add friends is locked behind tons of unintuitive menus, making the whole thing really frustrating. If you’re looking to add friends in Mecha Break but don’t know how to, our guide is here to help.

How To Add Friends in Mecha Break

As stated earlier, the option to add and invite friends is behind a ton of menus. If you’re looking to add friends in Mecha Break, you need to follow the steps given below:
- Boot up Mecha Break and load into the main menu.
- Now, you’ll see a ton of options here. Look to the bottom left corner of your screen, and click on the Comms button in the corner. This will open the Comms menu. Select the Contact tab in this menu, and you can then type in your friend’s name. If your friend doesn’t know their name, ask them to check the name on the top left corner of their main menu screen. Type in their name and send them a friend request.
- Once they accept your friend request, you’ll see them in the friend’s section. You can then add them to your game from here. Alternatively, you can also use the Steam Friends section in the Comms menu.
