YouTuber MoistCr1TiKaL and artist bbo$ are set to do a double cosplay featuring characters from Sonic The Hedgehog.
Rapper and singer Alexander Leon Gumuchian, popularly known as “bbno$” (baby no money), posted a community challenge on X on February 12, 2025. He said he would do a double cosplay with YouTuber Charlie “MoistCr1TiKaL” if his post reached 69,000 likes. In less than 12 hours, X users almost doubled the required likes and are now waiting for the cosplays.
MoistCr1TiKaL might be familiar with bbno$ from the “Lil Freak” music video that the two personalities worked on together in March 2024. The music video has over 16 million views on YouTube and is one of the singer’s most popular tracks.
The singer frequently appears on popular Twitch streams, with his most recent collab being with Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek in January 2025. With bbno$ and MoistCr1TiKaL’s audience completing the challenge, official X accounts for Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic Movie, and StreamElements shared their thoughts on the upcoming collab.

The singer posted a photo with MoistCr1TiKaL holding two printouts of Sonic and Shadow. The singer will cosplay Sonic, while the YouTuber will cosplay Shadow as part of the challenge. Sonic and Shadow are two iconic characters from Sonic the Hedgehog.

Sonic first appeared in the Rad Mobile game in 1990. Game developers Yuki Naka and Naoto Ohshima created the character as a mascot for the SEGA game company. The character quickly became one of the most recognizable video game characters in history.
Shadow the Hedgehog, who will be cosplayed by MoistCr1TiKaL, is an anti-hero. He does not shy away from making questionable decisions to seek justice. While they fight for the same side, Sonic and Shadow’s ideals often come into conflict in the video games.

“Legally we should count for more likes,” said @sonic_hedgehog, the official Sonic the Hedgehog X account.
“It’s now 100k+ likes, y’all better suit up,” commented @SonicMovie, the official X handle for the Sonic movies.
With official Sonic accounts hyping up the cosplay, other popular X accounts joined in to share their excitement about the collab.

With the challenge successfully completed, fans are waiting for Moist and bbno$ to reveal when they will go ahead with the cosplay. The singer is currently visiting Charlie, and fans could expect an official announcement from them soon.
