Monster Hunter Wilds is just a few months away from its official release. Capcom has started revealing key details regarding the title already. Recently in a dedicated Monster Hunter showcase, Capcom unveiled the schedule for the upcoming Open Beta playtest. Furthermore, the publisher also revealed the official PC system requirements for the game via the official Monster Hunter website and Steam.

Given that Monster Hunter Wilds is the first title in the series to be released on current-generation hardware, it boasts some pretty beefy system requirements, with the CPU specifications being noticeably higher than any previous Capcom title.

Here’s everything you need to know about Monster Hunter Wilds’ PC system requirements, including the engine the game uses, file size, and more.

What Are Monster Hunter Wilds PC System Requirements?

Monster Hunter Wilds boasts some pretty beefy system requirements for PC. The upcoming Monster Hunter title is built using the RE Engine. However, it seems the game is using the most recent iteration of the engine, similar to Dragon’s Dogma 2. Monster Hunter Wilds and Dragon’s Dogma 2 feature almost identical system requirements. However, based on the GPU requirements, the upcoming Monster Hunter title seems to be less taxing on the VRAM front.

That being said, here’s a look at the minimum and recommended system requirements for Monster Hunter Wilds.
